今回は私の「学部」について
お話したいと思います😇！
I’m going to talk about
my faculty today!
慶應SFCでは、
ー総合政策学部
ー環境情報学部
があります。
At Keio SFC, there are
faculty of policy management and
faculty of environment and information studies.

When I entered university. So young.
そして、その中に「GIGA」
プログラムというものがあるのです。
Also, there is a program called “GIGA.”
私は環境情報「GIGA」学部
に通っております👍！！！
I attend the GIGA program (faculty of
environment and information studies)
at Keio SFC!
「GIGA？さっきからGIGA、GIGAって
なんですの🤔？？？（某お笑い芸人風)」
“aam….. you are repeating GIGA
GIGA many times, but what is it?”
説明しよう！
Let me explain it!
GIGA = 慶應義塾大学における
“初めて”の英語によるプログラム
GIGA= the first ever undergraduate
curriculum for international students at Keio
です！
英語で授業を行います！
私は日本で英語で授業が受けられる
とこに入りたいと思ったので、
GIGAプログラムに入りました。
The lectures are in English!
I wanted to take lectures in English at Japan,
so I applied to this program.
※入学してすぐGIGAだけのウェルカムパーティー
Welcome party with only GIGA students
受験条件を満たす方も少なく、
AO入試も普通とは少し違います！
（３分間自己PRビデオとかあった！）
オーディションかっ😂！！！！笑
私の年は３０人くらいしか入れませんでした。
Not many people satisfy the admission requirements
and everyone needed to submit 3 minutes
self-introduction video in their application documents !
Isn’t it like an audition:D ?!! haha
In my year, only 30 people got in.
これまた、何で合格したのか
いまいち良く分かってない😑。笑笑
I don’t know why I got accepted, seriously.
今年の９月からは「PEARL」と
いう慶應経済学部の英語
プログラムが出来たそうです！
From this September, there is a new
English program called “PEARL”
for Faculty of Economics.
実は私もそのプログラムに興味
があったのですが、２年前は
ありませんでした😢。。。涙
I was interested in that program as well,
but it started from this year:'(
GIGAの子達と基本大学で絡んだり
するのですが、英語と日本語が入り
交じって話します。笑 #GIGAあるある
I hang around with GIGA students at
school. We speak in English
AND in Japanese.
AO入試だからか、一人一人個性
豊かな子が多くて！英語は
もちろんペラペラです😎！！！！
Each person is very unique, so I really love
talking with GIGA students! Of course,
they are fluent in English as well:)
去年の９月からは総合政策のGIGA
プログラムが出来たらしく、
毎年GIGAの生徒が増えてきてます！！
嬉しい😢💓！！！！！
From last September, Keio SFC made
a GIGA program for faculty of policy
managementl! Every year, GIGA
students are increasing, so I’m very happy.
GIGAの子がね、
ミスコン応援してくれてて泣きそうになるの。
今回GIGAとしての候補者がミス慶應SFC
では初めてで不安だし、それなりの結果を
出さないとGIGAっていう存在が広められないし、
とか色々抱え込むことあって泣きたくなる時も
あるけど、フィナーレ応援しに来てくれるんだって。
（やばい、これ書いててもう涙線きた）
The GIGA students are cheering for my Miss contest,
and I can’t thank them enough. Seriously. To be honest,
I’m really worried about not getting any prize in the finale.
What if I make the GIGA students disappointed 🙁 ?
Sometimes, I feel like crying.
GIGAの友達。

だって。泣ける。

後ね！！！！！
つい昨日！！！！！
超嬉しいことがあったの！！！！
Omg, I need to tell you something very
joyous which happened yesterday !!!
周りにいる子たちは、今年の
９月入のGIGAの子達なんだけど、
ミスコン出てること知ってて話しかけてくれたの！
The people around me are first year GIGA
students, and they knew about me.
とっても嬉しかった！
I was very happy :'( !
でも、
何よりも嬉しかったことは、
However,
the happiest thing happened.
One student told me that
「本当、GIGA生の誇りです。」
“You are GIGA’s treasure.”
from a “freshman” student.
って言われたこと。
普通にまた涙腺来た。
お世辞でも嬉しいし、これだけでミスコン
に出て自分を精一杯アピールして良かったな
って思えた。GIGA代表として頑張らなきゃ
って気が引き締まった。
I couldn’t express my happiness. I felt honoured and
proud to be a GIGA student. When I heard this,
I felt glad that I participated in this miss contest as a
GIGA student. At the same time, my motivation
increased. I want to make them happy.
最後に！もっともっと慶應SFCが
国際的な学校になって欲しいな！！！！
Lastly, I hope Keio SFC gets more
international in the future!
そして外国人に向けてこのプログラムの
知名度を増やしたい！その為に私が出来る
ことは、皆様に慶應「GIGA」プログラム
の説明をすることです！
I want to spread this program to foreigners.
That’s why I wrote this blog 🙂
慶應は日本では知名度が高いのですが、
海外では知らない方が結構多いのです、、！
しかし、慶應もグローバルになれるよう頑張って
いるのでこれから期待したいと思ってます！！！笑
Keio is well-known in Japan, but in foreign
countries it is not. However, Keio is trying hard
to make the school global 🙂 !!!
